Removing the Toucam base stand

The folding base that makes a stand for the Pro II Toucam just adds unwanted weight to the telescope and would be better rermoved.
Has anyone been able to remove it without damaging the imager? If so instructions would be appreciated.

Dennis, just insert a small flat (-) screwdriver in between the case & the stand.
It only has 2 small short tabs/projections on it that clip into it.. ain't gotta move it far. May have to ease both sides at once.
The front 'dress' plate (with Philips on it), simply unclips as well. Just use your fingernails to pop it off.
