Lightweight, great for field trips and very compact. The mount and tripod fit into 2 carry bags. I have used it very successfully and it guides great with PHD2. Mount can be used with Meridian flip disabled depending on what OTA is installed.
It also comes with the X-Guider (sold separately and costs $549) seen in the attached pics on the underside of the Dec axis. You can attach a guide scope here, or even another imaging system (I had my modified DSLR attached at one point).
It also come with the custom made pier adapter plate if it will be pier mounted. Finally, I will also supply a few home-made counterweights as they come in useful depending on how the mount is configured.
