PHD2 - Now Released!

The latest version of PHD has been released.
I'm looking forward to trialling the "sticky position" option for slit guiding...

Quote:
On behalf of the PHD2 development team, I'm pleased to announce that we are promoting PHD2 to "Released" status.

You can get more detail and download it from:

http://openphdguiding.org/ http://openphdguiding.org/

As in past releases, it will coexist with PHD1, but will replace any previous PHD2 versions you have on your system.

There have been an number if issues resolved, and this release includes updated documentation. The amount of new functionality has exceeded my wildest expectations and I'd like to thank everyone who has contributed.

For any of you out there unfortunate enough to be using Norton you might find it deleting the download:

You are going to or not going to like this. Norton has classified your download as a 'threat' under the term WS.Reputation.1'. How about that for a bunch of bananas. It's based on a low reputation score from their community. Anyone who wants to use your site to download must turn restore the file from quarantine.
We had similar problems with earlier PHD2 alpha and beta releases. It helps if someone who is getting the warning from Norton AV reports it as a false positive at https://submit.symantec.com/false_positive/

There are online scanners you can use to confirm that the file is safe. Here's the results from jotti:

phd2-v2.2.0-installer.exe - http://virusscan.jotti.org/en/scanre...709e6cea847a18
