IC 2944 Lambda Centauri

IC 2944 Lambda Centauri - part of the running chicken nebula. Taken over 3 nights with 12 hours of data. I used HSO pallet with 533mc pro osc and the trusty 3nm L-ultimate filter, and the Amazing Askar V at F6.18. Processed in Pixinsight.

Paul,
Excellent image with extraordinary detail and resolution
Great little rig you have there, I call it little because my guide scopes are nearly the same size as your imaging scope
When age gets the better of me in the not too distant future, my Newts will have to be retired and replaced with these great little APO refractors.
They certainly do a tremendous job
Well done !!
Martin

Bahahahah thanks Martin. Yes 80mm isn't much aperture. And this scope can be configured into 6 different FL using a 60mm or 80mm lense with reducer flattner or extender. I've tried most configurations now and all of them deliver.

Well done Paul. A very nice result. The interplay of colours in the final image has worked well

Very nice Paul! I really like the colours in this rendition, and the starless version is very atmospheric and kinda moody.
