Venus and Jupiter Sunday morning

This morning (Sunday, I know now it's early Monday morning in AU) at 4:30 o'clock (12:30 AEST) I went to the loo and it was already twilight (northern summer here) and saw Venus , Jupiter and Aldebaran through the window, so I took my 7d and took a quick shot of 1.5 sec throught the double glass window (hence the ghost near Venus).
Even the stars of the Bull's Head are visible (note: in NL all objects in the east are rotated about 90º clockwise in comparison to AU) on the photo.

Hours later at 9 in the morning I looked up all three with a small 8cm refractor and found all three !

Very pretty, SkySurfer.
It all must look so gorgeous with Taurus & the Hyades & Pleiades. I really need to set my alarm clock and take a look soon.

+1 for the planets at dawn comment Rob.I was up at 5:30 this morning for Jupiter and Venus...just beautiful in a 100ED f9 frac> Venus a crescent still and Jupiter showed lots of bands and a few swirly bits, even got to use the 5mm Hyperion for the first time very nice too. Sky Surfer sounds like you should set up a scope in the loo ...just next to it I mean.
