Below is a timelapse I created the other morning when trying to capture the sunrise over the Shorncliffe Pier in Brisbane. Comprised of just over 500 photos each 4 seconds apart. It was hit and miss as a cloud bank rolled in at the last moment and basically shot any chance of the Sun appearing.
But it was still a good morning as while the camera was shooting the timelapse, it gave me time to chat to some other photographers at the pier.
The quality is not HD as I processed the photos as smaller jpegs as it was only going to be a test for setting but I decided to keep it. This is my second timelapse I've created and can't wait for some cloud free nights to capture some Milky Way shots.
This was taken with my Canon 550D using Magic Lantern firmware. I have on order a Canon 6D which I'm just itching to get my hands on the full frame sensor.
