I've decided to sell my Celestron 9.25" XLT OTA which was just replaced under warranty. I no longer have the space and it's difficult to lift after back surgery.
As mentioned it's brand new (never been used) and has a feather touch focuser which was installed by Bintel.
The items included are:
- CGEM 925 OTA (comes with original focuser as well)
- Feather touch focuser
- Dew Shield
- Bahtinov Mask
- 1.25" diagonal
- 25mm Plossl
- Bintel 0.5x focal reducer
- Bintel SCT 2" adapter
The previous scope's secondary housing wasn't completely centred (It was fine for visual and prime focus imaging, but with a Hyperstar it showed some misalignment) It appeared to be easier to replace the scope rather than fix it during its warranty period.
They have a two year warranty, I assume that even though the scope is new they are not providing a new 2 year warranty only up to the previous warranty, how old was the scope when replaced, I want to know this so I know how much warranty is left on this scope.
