Three of one

Folks,

Been a bit busy since last week's opposition, but here's a few shots my rig took that night.

Each shot is about 35 minutes apart. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was playing its games while the giant was lower in altitude... would have been nice to get a few earlier shots of the GRS transit

Rig:
Celestron EdgeHD 1100
WO 1.25" Barlow ~1.5x
ZWO ASI462MC

Cheers,
Dunk

Beautiful. I'd be stoked with details like these. If you want to see atmosphere playing come down here. This is not even shimmering by NSW standards.

These are really nice, so nice that I'm going to stop imaging Jupiter and just content myself with looking at results like this and get a good night's sleep.

Cheers

Ha ha yeah there is a risk associated with every reward! I hear further north and west in QLD is pretty good, but I reckon my poor 11" might not benefit from it much. It's can certainly be a bit of a wild card this close to the ocean, sometimes good, mostly bad

Where's the fun in that Dennis

Fwiw, here's a shot taken about 35 mins before the first in the trio above... same processing steps. Wasn't looking all that great at that point.

Hah - the main advantage is that each day, I get to go to bed the same day I woke up.

I need all the beauty sleep I can get.

Cheers
