SkyWatcher 12" GoTo Dobsonian - Located in Perth

Greetings!

I am selling my very neglected SkyWatcher 12" GoTo Dobsonian. I've owned it for just under 4 years and haven't touched it in roughly 3 years.

It needs a few things done to it to be in ideal condition. Both mirrors are in top condition as dust cups have been left on it constantly. The screws behind the secondary mirror however are stripped and will need replacing. I have been informed these are standard screws that can be matched at any decent hardware store. Comes with the SynScan controller and the communications cord however you'll need to supply your own power cord and power. From my observations it seems to be in great condition other than these things.

Happy for people to come and have a look at it before purchasing.

Because of these small inconveniences I have decided to sell this rather cheap. I noticed that one of these sold on here for $1700 last year. I will be asking for $1300 ono. I feel this is fair and would more than cover the time and costs of the minor repairs needed.

This is pick up only and I am located in WA - Stirling 6021. Pictures below. Feel free to ask me any questions about it and I'll do my best to answer them.

Laurence

"The screws behind the secondary mirror however are stripped and will need replacing."

If it's only been used for 1 of the past 4 years, how does that happen?

I didn't really know what I was doing when trying to collimate it the first few times and over tightened the screws trying to align the mirror which resulted in stripping them. Never bothered to fix it because I barely use the thing.
