Running Chicken - work in progress...

In keeping with the current theme of playing with the southern hemisphere emission targets, I set up a run on IC2944 last night...

Low clouds came over, and in my usual disgruntled huff, after about 30 minutes of waiting for them to pass, I thought, I've had 7 or 8 good hours of imaging already in the last 10 days... I'll pack up and have an early night...

So as you can imagine, by the time I was packed up, the sky was clear... So be it I guess...

In any case... This is only 57 minutes of data, but It's given me a lot of motivation to add a few hours to it!

19x3min subs

Askar 65PHQ
Player One Artemis C Pro (IMX294)
Askar D1 7nm Ha/OIII filter
Avalon M-Zero mount

Captured with NINA+PHD2 (0.33" RMS guiding last night!!)
Processed in PixInsight.

Synthetic SII/Ha/OIII and Ha/OIII/OIII versions added...

Alex,
Nice work and some excellent detail for only an hour of data
Those darker skies really help , I know as I image from both ends of the light pollution spectrum ( B8 City suburban to B3 Rural )

Looking forward to seeing your final rendition

Clear Skies
