Hi everyone,
In March this year, I decided to shoot the Large Magellanic Cloud since I wasn't sure of what else to shoot during Orion/galaxy season. As I was untracked I had to choose wisely my targets and decided to spend 3 hours on it. This project went much longer than I wanted due to La Nina
The image below is 3 hours with a Canon 650d, static tripod, and a 55-250mm kit lens (shot at 55, F/4) Stacked in DSS and Processed in Pixinsight.
Currently, I'm shooting SMC untracked and have 2hrs 30mins on that, just waiting for the clouds to clear up (and hot weather/smoke at night)
Please note this is heavily compressed so it's lost a lot of dynamic range.
