Complete Astrophotography setup (except camera)
This is a practically complete Astrophotography setup, ready to go. All you need is a digital camera (adaptors included for Canon EOS system and EF-M lenses, but with just some basic adaptors for your brand of camera, any brand will work), and an SDCard with whatever version Astrophotography software you wish to use with the Raspberry Pi. Several free simple step installs are available online for the Pi. And of course you'll need a computer to do any post-processing of the captured images.
The items in the setup include :-
- Skywatcher HEQ5 Pro Equatorial mount
- Skywatcher Black Diamond 150mm F/5 OTA
- SVBony 50mm CCD Helical Focuser F3.8 guid scope
- ZWO AS129mm Monochrome Mini Guide Camera
- ZWO Electronic Automatic focusser
- Baader MPCC Mark III Multi Purpose Coma Corrector
- 1.25" Laser Collimator
- 3x and 5x barlow lenses
- multiple eyepieces for visual observation as well
- Fujian 25mm f/1.4 CCTV lens for Canon EF-M mounts
- Canon T-ring & adaptors
- Custom 3D printed scope control knobs for easy adjustment
- Custom 3D printed battery back and connectors to power the autofocuser separate from the main supply using 18650 batteries
- Custom ethernet connection and interface between the scope and the Pi for the most efficient data transfer
- Carry case for all the parts. There are probably a few extras bits and pieces in there I haven't itemised as well.
Very reluctant sale but I am moving and can't use it where I am going. Very little use. A lot of the piece have have no use at all. The whole setup new cost is well over $3,500.
Price is $2,000. Pickup from Maryvale, Qld near Warwick, or I can meet in Toowoomba, Warwick or in the western areas of Greater Brisbane around Ipswich.
Russell.
