For my 8" SCT, I ended up getting the Pelican Trimcast 780 model Edison mentioned. It is kind of huge for the 8" (a 9.25 would probably fit just fine). It is no classic Pelican case, but with some foam added, it should do the job well. I looked at the smaller 620x310x310 case, which I liked a lot for size and the single top carry handle, but it was a little too small - another 20mm on each side and it would have been perfect.
Houghy, I don't think those larger Craftright case are available any more.
