Howdy. I tried a search for this topic and got lost in a myriad of old posts with no result!
How do I post images that Ive taken and want to share with the rest of the crowd?

Hi there.

It's very easy once you know how.

1) Your images must be jpeg
2) Your images must be under 200kb (best way is to ensure it's 800-100px wide or so)
3) When you do a "New Thread", scroll down to "Manage Attachments"
4) When you're posting a reply, click "Go Advanced" and scroll down to "Manage Attachments".
5) In Manage Attachments, browse to the file(s) on your computer, and click "Upload".
6) Submit your post and the thumbnails will be attached to your post.

Hi,

When you create a new post there is a paperclip icon that allows you to attach an image.

(1) Image must be compressed to <= 200 kilobytes
(2) Decide which forum

(a) Planetary/moon in the Solar System forum
(b) Nebulas, Galaxies etc in the Deep Space forum
(c) Other general non-astro in the Terrestrial Photography forum

Hope this helps
Paul
