Widefield Lagoon

I've been out of the game for about 4 years, but jumped back into it which has been exciting. This is the first image from the new system.

FSQ85 + ASi 6200MM + MX+

3 Hours luminance
3 Hours each RGB

It's not as high resolution or detailed as a lot of the other amazing images here, but I'm impressed considering the short focal length. I'm very happy with the camera/scope.

I can't manage to upload an acceptable image on the forum, so Astrobin it is..
Thanks for looking!

One of my regrets was selling my superb FSQ85 a few years ago.

It had to be one of the best small aperture APO's available bar none....leaving me wondering what was I thinking? Its pedigree clearly shows in this image.

Nicely done

Thank you Peter. Hindsight is funny that way, I’ve been in the same position…..nonetheless thank you for your kind comment.
