Trifid Nebula 1st Light

My first go at the Trifid Nebula and my first LRGB image with my 2600mm pro, Antlia Filters and my Aksar 107PHQ Scope. I got 2 hours of L and 45 minutes each of RGB all in 60 second exposures. Captured with no moon, bortle 5 backyard I'm really happy with the detail I was able to capture.

Fun learning a new processing technique as well. You can view the full size version here : https://www.astrobin.com/hxlkbz/

Excellent first light
Detail and colour superb
Well done !!
The 2600MM is a great camera , wait until you image narrowband on emission nebula , especially the Ha. I’ve had mine nearly 12 months now and doubt whether I’ll go back to my 2600MC.

Cheers
Martin
