Anyone running their laptop with this chipset? Also with apps like the SkyX Pro, SGPro and PHD2.
I'm looking to get a new laptop and was wondering if someone could give me their views on the performance.
Cheers
Mark, it's an entry-level Ryzen 3000 family dual core CPU, so while it's prolly not going to set your world on fire, it should be more than adequate for an image capture machine and fairly energy efficient.
Needless to say, you'd probably want the storage to be SSD and at least 4GB memory to behave at its best. (In this day and age, the same would be true for any machine)
The laptop I am considering has this processor, 8GB RAM, and 256GB SSD. It will replace a nine year old laptop with a 3rd gen i3, 4GB RAM and a HDD. It’s sole purpose will be image capture.
The old laptop still does the job but is beginning to behave inconsistently.
