A quick question with regards to Astro Photography Tools and Stellarium.
I’ve just downloaded both and I’m currently in the process of configuring both.
With regards to configuring gear and, more specifically, the telescope, do you need to add the actual focal length of the telescope or the effective focal length once the flattener/reducer is attached?

Reason: Typo
Recommend you join the APT forum ( aptforum.com ) and post your question there , Ivo the developer is usually fairly quick with a response or other forum members may respond as well
I found specific questions about specific software get answered quicker on the softwares forum than on a general astronomy forum ( unless a member had the same issue and resolved it quickly)
There are forums for just about every piece of astronomy software
Just remember APT is based in Europe so a response may take 12 to 24 hours depending on who responds
Graham I've been using APT since I started this hobby and it's been great. You'll want to enter the focal length after your reducer/flattener since this is what the camera will 'see'. This is particularly important when configuring the plate solving software to work with APT, as the effective focal length and camera specifications will determine your FoV.
Feel free to ask any further questions, happy to help out!
