Here's what I managed to rescue this morning, under some quite variable seeing conditions that didn't quite settle down.

Tak Mewlon 210, Tak x1.6 Extender, ASI 174 M, Baader AstroSolar photo film, Baader Solar Continuum Filter.

Cheers

Dennis

Dennis, that's a great image. Unfortunately, the Sun did not shine here today.

September 13th, 8.30am.

Regions 2866 & 2868 each have a large spot and several smaller spots as well as some faculae. They are become somewhat defuse as they approach the Sun's Western Limb.

Thanks for the compliment Bob,

You know what 'They' say ?

It's not the size, but how you use it !

Paul.

September 14th, 8.35am.

Region 2866 is now very close to the Sun's Western Limb. One large spot shows along with 2 defuse smaller spots and some faculae.

September 15th, 8.25am.

One defuse spot next to the Western Limb is the only spot that remains visible in Region 2866.
