First Crack @ Saturn - SPC900NC

Seeing was shocking on Friday, the planet was jumping all over the place and 'bubbling'. Mirror had been cooling for hours with the fan on. So it had to be seeing... Collimation was spot-on (Catseye gear).

Regardless, here's what the Phillips can produce for your first time shots.

Logie.

Thanks Gary

It's surprising what 'good processing' can do to the images. Contrast the dodgy one I posted above with the following! Different processing using the same data. REALLY looking forward to a good night now!

It's still saying half price but turns out to be 44 pounds (37 pounds excluding VAT). All up about AUS$55 exl VAT. Still a good deal or not?

EDIT: ooppss..idiot.....had 2x as quantity. ~AUS$36 exc VAT. I may have to get one. Can this be modified for long exposure even though it's branded as an SPC880?

Yeah I have been in contact with Exfso .

Anyways, I ordered one of these webcams last night. Didn't really need one but couldn't resist.
