I'm happy to share a cabin, and also setting up close to the cabins is fine by me - I'm tethered to 240v anyway and have several bits of computer gear so being close to the cabin would be ok.
I was out in the field last time and that was ok too, so I really don't mind one way or the other :-)

I don't have a problem with sharing a cabin, but I think my daughter might freak out if a strange man came into our room in the middle of the night (her father probably would too ).

Thanks Ken,
I think if numbers stay around what we have now, we should be able to sort it out on the day we arrive.

Just a quick question,
Is there mobile phone reception at Snake Valley?
I will be leaving my 3yo son at home with his father and I was wondering if he would be able to get in touch with me in case of an emergency at home.
Thanks,
Jodie

CDMA works fine ......but forget it if you've got GSM.
Robin could you PM me some details to get a 6x4 please.
I won't be able to make it this time round, I can't get the time off work because of others being on leave.

That's unfortunate John.
Yes, people are welcome to use my mobile number for emergencies! I have CDMA and get perfect reception at Camp.

I'll share a cabin with Peter. I do think allocation should occur prior to the day though. The people who put up the readies first should get preference of site and cabins. I think this is only fair given that we sent money off not knowing if the camp would go ahead.
How many cabins are there? From the sound of it, there are quite a few. And; what date is it again?
Dave is there more than 19 going? Boy big numbers. Interesting to talk to so many of you at last face to face.

Paul,
A few things there. If the camp was not to go ahead money would have been fully refunded. But its going ahead so all is ok there.
There about 10 cabins with upto 6 berth ones.
Forgot the dates already have we
The 3rd of March till 5th March.
Arrive afternoon of the 3rd then leave sometime on the 5th.
About 20 or so people so far.
Sorry you want be there John. Hope fully see you later in the year.
Robin I will have one of thiose photos thanks
Hope that clears things up

Thanks Dave,
I don't think you quite got the drift of what I mean't there. I knew that you would have refunded the money. Did not mean to imply that you would keep the money. Just that we were the ones who ensured that the camp would go ahead.
Yeah my life is so busy at the moment that I have about a million dates running around in my head and could not remember if this one had changed or not. Should use my diary more.
20 or so people is a good turn out for something that as just going to be a weekend get together. Should be interesting.
Thanks Dave for the reply.
