Trekkies are good value. I remember seeing a herd/flock/cluster of Trekkies in town, years ago. They'd all been to see the latest Star Trek flick.
They were having a ball, enjoying all the attention they created.
Bill, When my children were toddlers, they were all taught how to do the hand sign. So funny, out of the mouths of babes. My brother taught them to do the Space Cadet salute too.

There is just a wee problem in doing this.
I believe it would be construed as
TORTURE !!
Sadly, that is against the
Geneva Convention !! .

Boys you can redeem yourself with the green one by offering up a 'U store it' shed.
She's got to put all those scopes somewhere.
JJJ, a 'cluster of trekkies' HA!

Well I've an old 60mm wobbletronic I can donate to the cause.
It was going to be used as a sacrifice to the rain gods at the next star party, but if the Green One can use it, I'll concider handing it over.

Noooooo! jjj, Don't hand nothin' over, then the Green one has won.
Hold back.
I'm offering up my shed as JD243... has suggested as a 'U Store It'.
With the intention to hand all the scopes back to the rightful owners.
When the Green one comes to inspect her booty; I'll lock her out, the loot got stolen by Martians or the dog ate it?
We must all band together to overcome this Green invader.

We all like to dress up and have fun, I reckon thats a big part of the attraction for the Conventions.

Never been able to do that, Unless I put a bandaid around 2 fingers
I'll stick to the Klingon Salute.

Paresi Squares! **
(I'll go the green pieces - like our Jen probably would).
I think the harder games are; either " Pin the Tail on the Q" (slippery little sucker) or O'Brien and Bashir's " The Battle of the Alamo" in the holosuite with the safeties off. Other holographic games could be ion surfing, or Baseball against the Vulcans. Another of course is the electronic game; " Stategema"
Actually, I think I am more into Three-Dimensional Chess (which do have some known variants on the rules) than playing Paresi Squares!
I suppose we could play kadis-kot.... but I don't know the rules for that either!
Anyway my motto is; " Live long and (eat) flounder!"
** Not, I suppose, to be confused with TNG's Parrises squares?

Hey Green OSG,
I now have a confession to make. I'm supposed to be painting the house interior. However I am on this site playing whacko with Astro Geeks.
I'll have to get back to work. before her ladyship returns.
I only took a break to wait for the first coat to dry enough and I can get the ensuite finished today. Then I might take a peek at Geelong beating the stuffing out of Richmond.
After that comes the "Rissole Ritual" ,, ?? Explain later.
Cheers Marty

UDL Substitutes for Orion Slave Girls (and Jen)
It just thought of something especially for Jen, who we know likes to pppaaaarrrrteeey. With all these cans of UDL's floating around, perhaps she should start to consider more wilder Star Trek drinks.
For example, one of the most popular is synthehol, which has the characteristics of alcohol without the detrimental effects. I.e. You can't get intoxicated. (So what's the point!)
However, what would be up Jen's alley would be the sky blue ultra-strong Romulan Ale, which is banned in the Federation of Planets in the Alpha Quadrant. (There is a 134-proof version called the same, but compared to the real stuff it is like lolly water) I don't think there are any UDL's that are sky blue though.
Yet another blue drink is Antarean Brandy (funny as Antares is red, and its companion is green), which Scotty (Beam Me Up fame) drank in the Original Series.
Of course, if you really are serious, the you would drink the Klingon's Bloodwine - being twice as potent as whisky.
However, if I lived in the 24th Century I'd recommend the so-called " Starduster", " Supernova" or an " Arcturian Fizz"
Jen might checkout the long list of drinks; http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Category:Beverages , though sadly the UDL's didn't make the cut. Drats!
NOW! If this doesn't get her into Star Trek good a proper, well I think, NOTHING WILL !!
Q. Can you be booked for DYI at either impulse speed or going faster than Warp 2?
