Ian, I dont want you to think this is criticism in anyway mate? But I would have liked to see a 'first light' report, & your opinion on it's optics etc etc? Too much detail is never enough when your reading a review IMHO..In hind-site, my 152mm refractor review was too brief, & I feel the need/urge to re-do it lol.

Thanks Asimov for the feedback
I have added a bit more depth to the first light report (as best I can) & will add some Photos later.

Hi Mike,

This has probably already been mentioned but just in case....

At least on my screen the menu system on the left hand side is virtually unreadable because of the colour scheme. The dusty grey on the dusty blue does not show up really well until you select it.

Maybe its just a config problem on my part but it has made the menu most mysterious....

Cheers

Michael

Hi Michael.

Try deleting your history and clearing your cache - the colour is white text on blue background. Once you clear your cache, refresh the page and see how it looks then!

Thanks

Can we have the avatars and personal info back on the left hand side of the posts? This would reduce scrolling length of threads, with the added advantage of being able to adjust the size of the browser window width so that only the text part shows, and when the boss sneaks up behind you, it's a little less obvious that you're not working; they don't see any animated cows, bazookas, snoopy and so on...

Any chance the polls that remain continuously relevant and are deemed worthwhile, be combined into a category of their own after a period of time?
Seems a shame to lose some of them in the threads and not have the input of new members.

Mike
I was thinking of the polls which always remain relevant , such as 'which scope do you own', 'Omega v Tuc' etc ,which eventually get buried and lost in the depths.
Could they, after say 30 days, be placed together in a polls section so their more obvious and newer members can add their input.
I've seen a top 10 poll listing on another forum .
