Jen, I have been trying to figure it out, did we meet once on a SV club night a couple of years ago? Would have been a January or February club night.

It is a small world, I was just speaking to a contractor who does work for me in SA and it turns out he met someone a week or so ago who was looking at coming over for SVAC!

We are so envious of all the people that are heading off for this gathering.
We were hoping to attend, but the timings have not worked this time. We are hoping to be with you all looking skyward over the weekend if we can get some clear skies from our dark site here.
Lets hope that everyone has a safe trip and that all have a fantastic time at such a great event.

Must confess I am getting a tad nervous given this is the first camp I have had a hand in organising. But with the great bunch we have coming I am sure it will all work out.

Well I'm all packed. Don't know how I squeeze all the gear in "Clarence the Captiva" but managed it. They tell me that one of the advantages of visual observing is you don't have to drag as much gear around as imagers. 
Anyway, just to let you know I will only be contactable by mobile once I leave so any last minute requests, complaints, etc will have to be made on 0448 567 187 .
