Cloud bank moving through at present. Bureau said partly cloudy at first then clearing. Skippy sky prediction attached. Fact is currently 7/8 cloud. Doing this from home, too late to move.

Nana Glen NSW cloudy with small clear spots, may get the odd glimpse. Set up to go, just in case I'm lucky.

Same where I am too in the CBD at Uni. Looks clear past the Hills below the sun. It will burn off, I can see lots of blue sky amongst the cloud. Will just miss first contact tho! Enjoy the view everyone!

The clouds were below the sun in Sydney for the start. Yay!
I am attaching a very poor picture taken with a hand held camera.

At home in Castle Hill. Missed 1st contact with cloud. Saw 2nd contact. DSLR now shooting at 2 min intervals.

CFO is having a look through the binos from time to time.

However we're getting intermittent showers.

I've had several seconds of viewing through the scope - I'm very happy.

Had a call from Melbourne. Super excited viewing by young children through IIS solar glasses. Yes, they can see the "black dot" on the Sun. A pair has been left with the childcare centre so they can all go out later this morning and look.

To think, it is possible that some of these 3 and 4 year olds may see the next transit!!
