Well, we have had rain all day in Brisbane - but I saw a glimpse of the Moon about an hour ago so I set up my LX90 with the Nikon (now 10pm)
I must be an optimist and hope to get some partial and total images - I was hoping for a great sequence series as I have been practicing with my set up for months now - oh the pain!

I may get lucky - there have been some breaks in the clouds and I have started taking some snaps......fingers crossed!

Perfect on the Sunshine Coast

Beautiful clear sky here on the Sunshine Coast - soooo lucky that the storms passed over earlier. Back to the camera!

Boo... a small storm cell just formed nearby and is now passing overhead. Hope others are having more luck! My camera's all ready to go as soon as it clears up.

Was quite clear earlier but clouds have now come across. Can still see the moon peeking throough now and then.

Well we've got rain, lightning, thunder and the thickest blanket of cloud here in Melbourne........no chance of seeing the moon let alone getting out the telescope and camera.

I've been relegated to watching the event on slooh.com

Cheers

Plenty of cloud here... All setup to try a few 'sucker hole' shots but doesn't look too hopeful..
