Well guy's I hope you had a bit of fun last night. I saw a few things I haven't
seen before, which is always refreshing.

Glen, any chance you could rattle off a list, of the nebulae we observed last night.

Actualy been thinking of maybe heading out to Alex's place tonight. Just dont
know how cold I want to get lol

Attached is a list of the objects I can remember from last night.
Can you think of others? Just thought of N3199 and N3581-3603.

The galaxy was NGC 5206 @ mag 11.6 to the east-south-east of Omega Centauri.
We did nab it in Glens scope.

Ya got to feel sorry for the folks who have to contend with that. I think
I would find it rather frustrating.

How was the Saints

Just had a phone call from Steve Fletcher in Grafton. They have a group of about 20 amateurs down there and he has a 14". They recently persuaded Grafton and Lismore councils to install full-cut-off street lights. They meet the first Wednesday of each month at the Aero Club at 7pm.

I forgot about those chaps. I tried to go down to one of their meetings when
I first started getting into astronomy 4-5 years ago. I forget the name of the
chap running it then, I remember trying 2-3 times in a row and always
something came up and the meeting was canceled. I had forgotten them until
I got you message.

I'm keen for a car pool down to one of their meeting if your going.

Graham and I met two young guys from near Lismore at the Qld Astrofest. David and Darren plan to come and observe with us next new moon. Darren has an 8" on a ball mount. We will have to change the name of this thread, I suggest Richmond River viewing nights.
Bought an 8mm Hyperion at the QldAstrofest and tried it out this am with good results. It is nearly parfocal with my 13mm Hyperion.

cool, a couple more to add to the group. We're up at Alex's place next
month, aren't we. Richmond River Viewing Nights sound good to me.

I've tried a 21mm Hyperion and your 13mm, very nice ep's they are close
to the XW's imo.
