See Houghy, as I said. 'That's Just me'. Even when I am in a down mood and trying to get a serious point across, I still can't help myself but add a small joke.
thats what we love about you ken
er... thats love in the way a man loves a beer, not the way a man loves a woman
cause your a funny friendly guy ken with a v/warm heart
sorry bout getting mushy.
just because I didnt agree with what you did doesnt mean i dont like you....
I had an arguement with cheryl yesterday... I still love her more than anything in the world
All? Are you also referring to the posts that had nothing to do with S&S?
More than half the thread was about the covers of S&S, and most of the other half was in reply to your pictures. What would've been left, is rumples commenting about a magazine cover that had no original post (as it was also deleted)

I've explained twice why the whole thread was deleted and not selectively deleted. Create a new thread with the "mock-up book" and you'll find it won't be deleted.

I see! It's OK for him to break a rule written by you and that is written on the site to read, and be allowed to do so, but if I have some fun with it (to which there is no rule written) I am the one deleted.
Seems like pretty stuffed logic to me.
They are 2 different issues and can't be compared. The advertising issue I have already talked about, and will be addressed. The seeking permission to modify and re-post someone's artwork is a general no-no, and you should know this.
And [i]you/[i] weren't deleted, the whole thread was deleted. It wasn't your thread.

Nothing was done? The guidelines were modified and they have been followed. Some tread a fine line. Not everything is black and white. The advertising has been deleted, what else do you want?

And leave what posts? Jason deleted his own post, there was nothing left to discuss.
Why are we quibbling over a couple of posts? I don't see the reason why this has escalated the way it has.

I would like to thank those that sent me the many, MANY emails and PM's in support. Mutiny is afoot!
I've also received many messages of support for the way it was handled. It's not a competition Ken, it's not me versus you.
If I could go back 2 days, I would've handled the incident differently. I would've deleted the offending thread for being advertising, and it never would've gotten to this. I fail to understand how it's reached this level though, it seems to me like it's being blown way out of proportion again, like it seems everything is when I take action that may have affected you, Ken (like the victoria star party thread).

I think starting thread is what blew things out of proportion. The whole public apology thing seems a bit over the top for something so frivolous. Those who haven't seen the deleted thread must think that Ken has done something terrible if it warrants a public rather than personal apology.

Let me phrase the word 'Support' the way I meant it to read. It was not members contacting me and saying "yay, I'm on your side" (well, some did) but the majority was "Don't feel down, keep your chin up", that sort of 'support'.

OK, time to spill my guts. This is what I avoid talking about but I think it's time. Do not take this as an excuse or a sob story. It is just the facts ma'am!
