As it is situated right on the beach, we thought it an excellent venue, especially for those who have family with them. I can see us wandering from the bar to the beach and back throughout the afternoon.
We hope to see as many of you as possible, to celebrate (or commiserate, depending on the weather.) this amazing experience.

I have booked two nights (12th and 13th) at the Newell Beach Caravan Park near Mossman. Do you guys know whether it is easy to get to the beach from there and whether it would be a good vintage point for the eclipse?

The IIS after party sounds like it will be a blast! Boy,I wish I was going too. 
Would have loved to catch up with and meet other IIS family members. Bugger that it's on the same time as Snake Valley camp.
