Seeing it tonight...yeww... I was at a wake recently for a guy thyat died in a helicopter crash at my airfield. James cameron was there along with other notables... I had quite a lengthy conversation with him that started with me thanking him for Aliens...One of the greats I reckon..

cheers

Clive - LOL... I agree with most of your sentiments, I do... really! Yep - full 'o holes. Only, the thing is... it ain't a documentary - it's just light entertainment. I used to get similarly stirred up like yourself, but I couldn't careless these days. As peter says... leave brain off, turn eyes and ears up to full. Lean back. Have fun.

Yep, true that Brian, nothin like pickin' holes in Hollywood. Maybe we should all get together and write the plots for the film makers.......whoa......be way too expensive me thinks!

Saw it tonight with a couple of mates. I liked it a lot.

I read the reviews here before I saw it and TBH I didn't relate any to what I saw. It made perfect sense to me, I didn't see any holes in the story line and it bridged nicely to the alien sequel. There are a lot of subtle hints all around if you pay close attention so will definitely get it on BD and have another good look.

There's obviously another branch opened to the engineers planet and that would make for another cool movie and answer a few things.

Knew you would Brian. I went on the day of release, in the middle of the day, and there was only about a dozen people. Only time to see a movie!

Cheers Peter
