Glad you are home jjj. Not the best way to spend your Birthday. Hope you bounce back quickly.
Paramedics are a cool, calm, collected lot. Did they break out their best jokes on the way to hospital?

JJJ,
we've never met in person, but I've heard many good things from others on this forum that have. You're never short on offering good friendly advise to those of us that need it, so it saddens me to hear you are unwell again.
With all the crap going on about the place, glad to have some good news in that you're doing better !!!!
Wishing you a continued speedy recovery.
Regards,
Paul

Only just heard the news.
Get well soon JJJ, I often worry about the long night hours you put in, makes me feel tired just thinking about it.
Have as Happy a Birthday as you can, HRH & myself are both thinking of you.
As for pacemakers, I doubt they can make one that will keep up with you.

I'm glad you are better now - sorry for not noticing this thread sooner, I am overseas on business (Beijing), not much time for anything.
IIS is not the same with you away, so please take care...

Hi Jeanette,
Glad to hear you're back home after an "ïnteresting" episode.
I can only add my best wishes and know that you'll get over this like all your "fun" times in the past.
Ken.

What a scary couple of days that was.
I have a very low resting heart rate and low blood pressure.
I need to take care care and be aware of this, and rest straight away if I feel the same thing happening again.
What happened...
Thursday evening, I just finished with Mars and swung over to Saturn. I was just lining up in the FOV of the webcam and focussing. Crossing from scope to computer screen time and again. All of a sudden I came over queer, dripping with sweat and nauseous. Next thing I knew I was on the ground with my glasses spread all over my face and a sore tummy. Still feeling horrid, I managed to get back inside and dial 000.
When the ambos were loading me into the back of the ambulance they were asking what I was looking at through the scope so I told them. It was pretty funny really, them stopping to have a naked eye look at Mars.
I'm resting now. Feeling quite exhausted.
Thanks again everyone.
