Yeah Brian, know how it feels at the moment, we have a week of rain. But, we need it and it will go away soon anyway. Yes, like Aeon Flux, great movie, but then it is sci-fi. I would just love to meet a woman that likes Sci-Fi, but they seem to be a rare breed.

Last woman I had in my life was terrible to watch sci-fi with; had to keep explaining it. Like, a big hole in the side of a ship and she asks, "why don't the people fall out?" Force field my dearest. "What's a force field?" Oh brother

Watched my favourite movie last night in bluray and the directors cut was really good. The movie, Close Encounters! Going to watch the Abyss tonight.

yeah understand that! I have been single for 16 years and after the first few women I met, post marriage, my first question, well almost , is do you like sci-fi? Man, it is top of my list Don't care what they look like, just gotta love astronomy and sci-fi Although, I do know one woman who has a telescope and loves sci-fi (and cute too) but just not my type,

One of the other thread mentioned a low budget Sci-Fi called Primer. Have you seen this? If so, any good? I have to admit it is one that I haven't heard of.

I didn't realise they were bringing out another ET? I am going to get Primer out next week. I am looking forward to the 1st December; and no, it's not because it is closer to Christmas

The 4th series Touchwood (Miracle Day) is release. I liked Torchwood. I will get it the day it is released.

knock, knock, knocking on heavens door I'm sure you don't miss, neither do I.

I haven't seen Super 8, I will get it out next week. Brian, I know what you mean about the kids at Xmas. I haven't seen my kids on Christmas day in nearly 14 years, as they go to their Mum's. I see then a couple of days later.

This Xmas will be good though as my son is coming over from London for a few weeks, so that will be great!

I hope to have my Observatory up by then I am waiting on Council approval

Hey Brian

I got Transformers, Dark of the Moon out tonight. I wanted to see this at the picture theatre, but didn't get the chance. Nothin' on the tv, as usual.
