well what did you expect when it has such a negative orientated title?

There was a thread in here about a year or two ago about 'What are your Favourite Movies'

But besides that one, here is a small example of the large amount of threads that have been based around Movies!

http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...ad.php?t=53410

http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...ad.php?t=53296

http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...ad.php?t=43926

http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...ad.php?t=42225

http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...ead.php?t=7205

and another old thread along the same lines as this one is:
http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...ad.php?t=43951

plus about 14 different threads on individual Movie titles like 'Star Trek Movie', 'Day the Earth Stood Still', 'Avatar', 'The Dish', etc.

It seems that Movies are a popular topic for some.

Then there are the threads 'What are your favourite TV series?', 'Your favourite Sci-Fi's', etc etc, and on it goes

Do we really need ANOTHER thread of 'your favourite Movies'?

Well I guess... But I really don't give a toss about what people hate either. On the other hand if there's a movie they recommend that I haven't seen yet, then yeah, I am all ears.

Me too Marc.
I'd rather go see a movie and make up my own mind about how I like/dislike it. Not whether others like/dislike it.

I have seen movies that people have told me are rubbish and I enjoyed them. But also visa-Versa.
We all have a different taste in movies, so the title of this thread is really subjective.
But it still makes for interesting reading

I just can't believe no one has mentioned these so far.
Transformers I, II and III - what incomprehensible rubbish with no story line. The director was even caught using scenes from other films!
Total trash.

The worst Movie of all time (verified) is a Sci-Fi film starring John Travolta called 'Battlefield Earth'.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0185183/

It won seven Golden Raspberry Awards, including Worst Picture and Worst Screen Couple (John Travolta and "anyone on the screen with him").

In 2005, an eighth Razzie (for Worst "Drama" of Our First 25 Years) was awarded to the film, and in 2010 the film won a ninth Razzie at the 30th Golden Raspberry Awards for "Worst Picture of the Decade", the most of any film in the history of the awards. (IMDB)

The film Grossed less than half of it's total Production costs! losing more than $22 million.

I dedicate all my 3 votes to Inception as well (though I was tempted to reserve one for the Battle: LA).

A convoluted and contrived plot does not make for a 'deep' film.
Bad dialog, unsympathetic characters (it's not a good sign when I, the audience, wish for the protagonists to die ), excruciating bombastic music even during scenes where nothing is happening, inconsistencies all over the place (and that's even with cutting the film some slack because, you know, it's all a 'dream in a dream in a dream'). I liked Memento, but this...

Over-rated films. What about this one, everyone's heard of it, but it's pretty bad - "Debbie does Dallas".

Should have mentioned District 9 in my over rated list

And I bought the movie without checking it out first.

Tried to watch it 3 times and have fallen asleep 3 times but in different places in the movie It would take at least 20 viewings to watch the movie through start to finish.
