Astrofest last year I thought I'd taken plenty of warm blankets. I was wrong. Someone showed their kindness by lending me an extra warm blanket which made the difference between a lack of sleep and being comfortable. I suspect that sort of thing is not all that unusual.
I lost my mother many years ago to cancer, so whenever I hear of someone having success in the battle against the disease, I think of it as another win in a long battle. Congratulations JJJ, hope to see you around for many more!
Congrats jjj. we havent met but seen you lots on this forum and in the chat room. very happy for you. I had a close call and was given 3 months.
but luckily it was a false alarm. it changes your life. I can appreciate what you've been through.

That is excellent news JJJ, I can really feel for you, it is one very hard road to travel, I have just begun my journey, but with great friends and lots of understanding it makes the trip ever so much easier.

I must add my congratulations here too. Like alot of people here, I was not aware of your circumstances until now, I have largely come to know you just a little bit through IIS and FB, and the occasional meeting and conversation at Astrofest.
Your strength and determination are second to none!

Congratulations and I am glad you are still going strong jjj, and pray that all continues to stay well with you and yours. From your jovial posts it is easy to forget your struggle. But its is good to stop and reflect on your success, brings hope to all.
