Thanks Dave for the offer to transport the telescope.
Things are looking good but not definite. We may at this stage hire a car and head over from Melbourne and take advantage of soverign hill for the kids on Saturday.
Is the $26.40 pp for both nights?
Thanks

Yes I am definitely in for both nights, but just myself as I will be packing the family onto the 3pm plane home on the friday and hopefully grabbing a ride with Davepretorius over if he's still in Melbourne.
Dave47 let me know a bank a/c or address etc to get the $'s to you.
I presume we need to bring our own provisions for food etc. Are there kitchen facilities?
Looking forward to meeting you guys.

i am booked on the boat arriving friday morning and leaving monday night.
hmmmmmm so there's a bintel in melbourne now......what to do on my free days in melbourne??????
mike, yes to kitchen facilities and plates and knives and glasses etc. It is a scout camp setup, so just bring food.
I am providing meat and potatoes for the crew on friday night, so just bring your own salad that night.
Ballarat has lots of supermarkets and shops, so i can pick you up friday and go via ballarat and go food shopping etc. Snake valley is 20 mins past ballarat. Ballarat 1hrish from melbourne.

In terms of power I will bring two Leads 20 and 30m respectively and two RCD boxes. We use these on building site and this will give the ability to draw 15amps of power. 7 outlets from two boxes. I will need at least 2 the rest are up for grabs. Hope that this is OK with you Dave?

I am in Dave, will be coming with Rumples. Ok if I bring the cannon, (not a camera). It will be interesting to see how it performs at a dark site. I have PM'd you for payment details.
Cheers

Yes, there's power from external power points on the rec. room just next to the observing area.
When in doubt, bring a 10m or 20m power lead. You can never have too many of them.
I'm bringing 2 x 10m leads :-)

Excellent. As long as I have power I have everything covered. Should be plenty of gawking going on. Must say I am looking forward to checking out Anthony's rig. Very curious.

Someone has to keep an eye on you lot.
I don't want to see anyone accidentally slip off the end of that pontoon.
