Yup, my friend saw it and heard the impact from glass house mountains. All the street lights in my area went out because it was bright enough to trip the light sensors.
For some reason my computer also restarted itself at the same time for no reason, all I can think of was it hit a high tension power line or something where it landed and caused a power drop.
cool stuff, wish I had of seen it.
