Hey guys, I won't be able to make it. I get back to Oz this Sunday, 2nd Dec. My cousin passed away in Sydney last week, so I'm going to visit my relatives there on the Barambah weekend.

Have a great time guys, and take some good shots for me!

Steve, keep my $$$, and use it for food!

Very sorry to hear about your cousin mate, Please accept our sincerest condolences.

You do what you need to do, and we'll catch up with you next time. We're already organising to send you a refund cheque and hopefully you'll have it before you leave for Sydney.

I've just discoverd that our website www.darkskycamp.org.au has been illicitly redirected to a dodgy pharmaceuticals sales link.

Not sure exactly when this happened but it's only in the last day or 2.

I've sent an urgent email to our resident website developer Randall, aka Dr Morbius, and I hope we have it up and running again as soon as possible.

Jeannette I got your pm saying you were going to register but nothing's come through, can you let me know if the site was working ok when you tried??

I've posted this thread about the state of affairs as well.

As a temporary workaround if you need to communicate with us about ANYTHING camp related send me a pm or email me for now instead darkskycamp at internode.on.net until we get things sorted. This email address is safe and works via an entirely different host machine, IP address, etc, to the website host itself.

Will keep you posted.

Steve

Cheers

I'm getting excited now.

Our websites main "page" facility as such is still unavailable (ie has been jacked!) but a couple of our sharp eyed members (thanks Russell & Jeanette!) have pointed out that if you specify the actual html page address (as opposed to just the main website root directory) you can still view all the pages.

Go here:

There are less than 4 days now until we'll actually BE at Barambah
so it's too late to post a cheque, but we can still accept direct deposits made to our Bank of Queensland bank account, or send us an email and we'll work something out.

IF you still want to register fill out and submit the form on the registrations page, or send us all your info in an email. Make sure you include a contact phone number and an email address that you will check daily!

Seems that some things are working out VERY well for our camp - we will have the Hubble overhead for the best 2 night time passes of it's current orbital cycle (mag 1.6 & 1.8) on Friday and Saturday nights around 21:30 local time.

In addition to that we have early morning ISS passes Saturday (mag -1.3 predicted) and Sunday mornings, but wait, there's more!!!

The STS-122 Shuttle mission launch is currently scheduled for 7:31 Qld time Friday morning, we may get to see the Shuttle chasing down the ISS and/or docked!

Fingers crossed for the weather now guys!

My cars pretty much packed right now, cold food and drinks to go in tomorrow morning. Joy and I are heading up early to get things set up.

We've both got aching feet and are tired as heck - the last day and a bit of "last minute" preparation have been full on to say the least, but it's all going to be worth it!

See you there peoples!!

I'm still planning on coming for a ride over on the bike on saturday (tomorrow) if the weather looks good, just for the day trip to say hello to all though, no plan on staying.

See ya there, Dennis.

From my days as a webpage developer in html. You need to specify or alias
a page to the server if you use anything other than "index.html", html will
always look for an index.html/htm unless things have changed. So change
"home.html" to "index.html" and your problem should be fixed.

just my 2 cents worth, but it could be worthless, have a great time guys
and gals

regards,CS
