HI Kevin headaches can be a terrible thing to have I had them for years so bad I was taking up to eight pain killers a day then I was tested by a specialist who found I had lupas disease that was ten years ago ,it is common In a lot of women but men get this and just don't complain about it ,I tried chiropractors and accupunture had short term relief
only ,arthritis in my body is the main source of pain and today it is much worse than it was ten years ago have taken magnesium oratate tablets for years and these help but a year ago now I was doing some research
on turmeric the powder that in india they have eaten for centuries I now take 4 capsules of turmeric a day no more headaches . I can give someone my excess iron as I have Haemochrmatosis as well too much iron and have to let blood every 3 mths any way turmeric might help

Sounds like you have the postdrome feeling. There's also prodrome, a weird feeling before an attack. I'm vegetarian too. Probably another reason why my iron is low. You should get your levels checked Oz.

Thanks Paul. I don't eat chocolate, but the medication I'm on for ulcerative colitis is a headache trigger. It could be that, or just the rundown condition I'm in at the moment.

Thanks Alan for the suggestion. Something else to try anyway!

I also bought some "Feverfew" herbal supplements. I'm keeping them for the next round of severe attacks, should they occur.

Right now though the headaches are not my biggest problem. I have encountered extreme fatigue. I can hardly get out of bed! Hope I get over this for when the moon clears. I don't want to miss the best of Comet Q2 Lovejoy.

Perhaps we could name this condition 'astronomer's neck'? Too many of you craning your necks to see through your scopes!

Highly recommend a Myotherapist or Musculoskeletal Therapist if you feel the condition is muscular

That doesn't sound like fun Alan. Sorry to hear about that.

I looked into Lupus some time ago. I don't display enough symptoms to make me suspicious.

Lately my BP has been dropping. A contributing fatigue factor.
