God particle is 'found' ?

Not really.

I find it rather interesting, I'd like to say lets hope it's not the "Standard Higgs" but a variation of it but I guess future runs will probably flatten the data out.

Just listened to a report on the radio saying that it had definately been found and Stephen Hawking saying Higgs should get a Nobel Prize.

He should too, and so should the others who at the same time also theorised it however it can only be ever given to 3 people at once. So it would be a given that Peter Higgs should get one but what about those who proved it?
Tough choices.
