Emiel and I have to give this one a miss this time. Literally missed the boat. Fares on the Spirit are a bit expensive at the moment.
With any luck though I'll be attending a Pizza and Telescope Night at Moriarty near Devonport in Tassie.
Clear skies.
PS Ken I'd like to renew my SVAA membership so if you could PM me details for depositing money or other prefered method that would be great.
Cheers
Mike

Buy your own RC car Jen. That way you and Drew can race each other.

Can I come?
What about power for AP gear. Cooled DSLR? Fan noise? Maybe the back paddock?

Just tell us what night's, camping/bunkhouse, Sat night meal etc.
There is power for ap and there is no back paddock.
We love noise (you will see when there ).

Yeah, I doubt we will hear your fan over the Rock'n'roll playing out of someones radio, the yelling across the field, the coffee grinder mounts slewing about, the laughter etc etc
I think we should be able to drown out the noise of any fan
Back Paddock? There is ONE observing field and we are all on it

Thanks. This is my first time to a star party. Sounds like fun.
Driving up from Geelong Saturday afternoon for a casual overnight visit. No specific bunk/camping requirements etc.
Saturday night feast - Yes!
...will make whatever remuneration is necessary for incidentals - tea/coffee etc. Let me know how all that works - happy to bring my own snacks drinks etc.

November was my first star party - and I went up, thinking "if it's terrible, I can leave after just one night, right???"
It was so much fun, I recommend planning to stay another night too, just in case

Yep, it works this way: you will owe us $65 for the incidentals, $35 for the tea/coffee, another $35 for the privilege
Nah, just bring anything you might want. Midnight snacks, coffee, sugar.
I'm sure I can spot you some milk
You won't need anything for the feast except whatever you want to drink.
The Feast comes with Dessert too
Be prepared to get very full of food
Although you aren't booking accommodation I will book you into the Feast so I have correct numbers for the caterers.
If you change your mind in the meantime and decide to stay over just let me know so I can book you a spot on the field, then you can throw up a tent when you get here
