I am searching for a movie which I saw couple of years ago on TV. In that movie moon gravitation was causing all the objects lifted when it passes close to the earth. Then they found the solution to bombard moon to push away and at the end the moon was split into two.

Anybody knows the name of that Movie?

Another movie I really liked was District 9.

I agree Steffen, for a low budget movie, District 9 was surprisingly good

looking at it now, it's quite ordinary, so read the book instead!
