Great news Chris. Advice is given free, but it's greatest value is when it is tried. Nothing worse than having all that great gear and your eyes letting you down.Yyou can purchase very expensive Eypieces but you have to start first with the bit that looks down them... Now you have your script, you can purchase your Contacts on line for alot less. Same brand and same item.. I use Contact Connections which is an Australian Site... Have a look for yourself.

Great outcome! I hope that others will read the thread and give contacts a try for themselves. They won't work for all, but they just might for some people...

I think this thread and your story will be a great help for others...

Thanks Mardy,

There's certainly nothing to be lost from checking this solution out.
A few dollars for the opticians time, a few more for the script!
As you say, it won't work for everyone, but you won't know if you don't ask.

Cheers
Chris

I didn't know you could get multifocal contact lenses, let alone astigmatic ones. How do they do that? I mean, how do you ensure the proper (angular) position of the lens?

Cheers
Steffen.

Not sure Steffen,

My optician has been in business a long time so I guess he knows what he's doing!

Cheers
Chris
