Ooh La La Marcy Marc!!
Love it - "you can't do NB with a OSC CCD"!!!!!
Eat those words whoever said them!!
Have you got an OIII filter in your toolbag?
I always recall Eddie's (ejcruz) synthetic RGB image of this region as being worthy of a stab/copy!!

Top work and congrats on getting the front page

Thanks Doug. Yeah mono's probably better suited as far as QE goes but my little OSC still works ok. There's always better but it does the job in NB and I can do RGB too. I saw Eddie's shot. Gorgeous vista. Drooling stuff Will definitely do bicolor Oiii blends when I have sorted out my field issues for sure.

Just back from the SPSP2010. It was great! Caught up with a lot of people and we had gorgeous skies and plenty of socialising and wine and laughs and more wine. . Good stuff.

Marc,

That's just sensational. My second favourite part of the sky after Rho Ophiuchus, I reckon.

The framing is wonderful, too, showing the extended nebulosity of the region.

I'm desperate to do this region on the STL. Still waiting for filters...
