Have just watched the first episode ( jjj) ..... bit of a shock to start off with ... food flying everywhere .
He certainly has a lot of energy, jumping around everywhere like crazy .
Then settled into a good episode, great storyline.
I think he will be OK, though may take a few episode to get used to.
Amy seems cool ... not loud and obnoxious like Donna.
from me.
Still love David though

Dr who

yeah, the kids some how got a copy over a week ago,and I watched it the.Its ashame the previous DR is gone,I really enjoyed him,one of the best.

Did'nt really like new one, think I will give thes series a miss,But as the kids said the previous DR had three seasons, which I gather is quite alot.

I REALLY liked Amy,in the 'kiss-o-gram' outfit.may be might catch another episode!

Sir Patricks' appearance was a giggle.

Over all I am not a sci-fi fan

cheers Chris

what a great episode, the freshest dr who episode I think since End of the World with Christopher Eccleston and Rose 4 years ago, love the new opening sequence and the DW initials making up the tardis (Have to look out for the T-shirt) This episode confirms to me that Russell T Davies and David Tennant went at the right time, while they were still brilliant. I'm hoping this series will stick true to the character and the sci fi, without the frequent social agenda issues of the last few years. Long live the new doctor

The closest I've been to it was in 1986....while I was pregnant with my eldest son.
I couldn't eat anything unless I had a mouthful of custard or porridge to wash it down.

I reckon Donna was great and should have been the next doctor. In this last regeneration, the doctor wonders about his gender, so clearly it doesn't have to be always male. Anyway, the new bloke seems quite good.

BUT THEY HAVE RUINED THE THEME MUSIC, THE BEST TV MUSIC EVER WRITTEN! They seemed to do this after Peter Davison's turn as the doctor as well.

I enjoyed it in spite of this crime.

re doctor

VERY UPSET! about the new Darleks.they look like a cartoon character, big fat and ugly, they look like 'teletubies',how can the producers do this? to the most famous sci-fi villians? Also why change the colour of the screw driver? it always
been blue!

NO,sorry I will not be watching again, even Amys' outfits will not get me back.

what a shame it all gone pear shaped! (like the darleks)
