Wow, thanks Dave! So, if I use a memory stick I won't need a burner? The old pooter has a CDRom but not a burner, is that enough?

Excellent. That sounds a very simple way of doing things.

I have worked out a trolley I can put the pooter on in the backyard. The Toucam cable is only 1400mm long so I will have to move the trolley around with the scope.

Which program/programs would I need in the outside pooter? Just the Philips CD program? and download all the others in this main pooter?

i reckon take the video on the old one, registax and then transfer it i reckon. photoshop will work best on the good one.

the videos will be too big even for the memory stick!, so registax to create an image, and then save that image to the memory stick

OK. I will download registax and save it on disc and then load it into the old pooter.

That is if it fits on a disc.

Bert, That's the population of a small country!

Dave, yes the new pooter has a burner.

I have heard of winzip but i have never worked out how to use it. When people send me winzip files I have never been able to open them coz I don't know how. This pooter has winzip but I never use it (don't know how).

Dave, I think the old pooter has winzip. This one already has winzip and Adobe Photoshop CS.

Where do I find registax, astralimage and neat image? and I will download them to start the ball rolling.
