Weather is looking promising (touch wood)
I have a key but, won't be there probably until around 7.30ish. Depending on what time cricket finishes.

After 12 months of dithering I hope to be able to swing a leave pass for this weekend.
But as it will be my first time, I have no idea what to expect.
Be gentle.

I have a hot date with the Mrs this Saturday night, so sadly I will not be joining you.
On the bright side, I may well constitute the sacrifical lamb, for the greater good.
Clear skies!

You are welcome Allan.
If I make it, I look forward to having a great deal of fun as we normally do.
Come along and meet everyone.

Unfortunately I'm a non starter for Saturday night as I have a birthday party to attend in Sydney and can't get out of.
To all who attend I hope the weather is kind and I'll just have to catch up with you next time for the usual frivolities.
I'm really needing a fix under good skies -it's been so long between drinks so to speak.
Cheers

Rick,
C'mon, man. You have to come! Whose 10" dob are we all going to share if you're not there?
We can even try splitting Sirius again, or, go for the Horsehead (not the one in the club, either!)
Regards,
Humayun

Bummer, can't help bad luck but I guess I could loan my scope to Geoff(Inmykombie) to set up but I think he would set it up, upside
down!!!!!
Gunna be there next time. Have a good one mate.

Hi H,
I will have my 18" Obsession there on Saturday night and we can try for both of those. Splitting Sirius shouldn't be too difficult. Seeing the Horse Head (HH) under Pony Club skies, which are IMO a long way from great, may not be so easy, but probably doable. The HH is one target which does require good dark skies and clear transparent conditions.
Cheers,
John B
