Just a bit of trivia, the ABC logo is a Lissajous figure, made by beating two sine waves (one 3x the frequency of the other and 90 degrees out of phase) against each other in a cathode ray oscilloscope one input to the X axis and one to the Y axis. If one of the frequencies is slightly less than or greater than an exact multiple the pattern rotates. I can't find the survey results. I found it 2 years ago for the work I did with Teenagers by searching google : 'National Surveys and Polls Australia'

I'll keep looking.
