He must be "isolated" at home (no trips to school or shops etc.) as his immune system is depressed at the moment from the medication he has been on but he can stay at home. We have a stack of scripts for more medications and follow-up instructions from the doctors and some monitoring that we must continue before he goes back next week for some more detailed follow-up checks.
We are very happy that he is at home and we can all sleep in our own beds. Barring no set backs...he should be back at school and "free" in about 10 days.
The clouds can now go away and clear nights can now resume!
Great news, Scott! Home is the best medicine, I'm sure, and things are sure to look up. I hope things return to normal ASAP. (It's been a harrowing time in the mangler for you and the family up until this point, I'm sure.)
Glad to hear the good news. Although in a few months I would suggest he may dispute your equating "free" with being back at school.
All the best,
Travis
Glad to hear he is on the mend. My mum lost her first child to that disease (my elder brother) its wonderful that medical treatments have progressed so far. All the best to you all.
