Every time I see one, 'The Odd Angry Shot' comes to mind.

Up until very recently, cadets used to use them too. It was always funny seeing a 15 year old with an SLR that wasn't much shorter than he was.

depends what they are doing , they can use the plastic thing or SLR, unsure if they do any drill with SMLE now or not
