haha... it's good to see peoples true colours from the start. Keep on supporting the Yanks!

The handful of people I know that have it are not cashed up, far from it. A friend got it recently just to watch the racing. It's a mentality thing, they think they are missing something when actually they are not.

There's a Big world out there beyond the brightly lit colourful screens.

It's been that way for a while in the UK, not sure what Spain are up to with their package this year but the races not shown on the BBC I have been able to watch in Spanish.

To be honest everything is online these days anyway so if I'm missing something I just watch it on the computer live.

Same here, I was just showing the viewpoint Bernie has expressed openly for years, it's only the bottom $$ he cares for.

He doesnt care if the tv audience total drops as long as the profit increases, the F1 sponsors he's collected do not cater to the poor.

I don't care for F1 anymore, Indy has far better racing but it's rare I see that either. I have stacks of VHS tapes from the 80s - 90s of when the F1s were worth watching, I can get a decent fix anytime for free.

I was linked to a youtube clip yesterday of someone with an old Orange Arrows F1 V10 at a track day. I hate to admit it but the current crop of engines score zero for character. They are technological marvels but when you look back to the V10 era, it is just dull by comparison.

Not something I would shell out $750 for the first year to see and $600 thereafter or more, given Foxtels history of cost creep.

If this is true I am really miffed as well. Love watching F1 and the same - really enjoy watching the tactics and strategizing. Probably means Monaco GP will be on Foxtel. Certainly not a win for me.

Wonder what is next ... have a license to watch TV?
